Gandhinagar (Gujarat) [India], A man has been arrested in Bharuch district of Gujarat for allegedly spying for Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Police said on Thursday that the accused has been identified as Praveen Mishra, who, according to the police, was framed by Honey- an ISI handler. Police said Mishra disclosed vita information related to drones manufactured by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). Addressing a press conference, Gujarat CID ADGP Rajkumar Pandian said, "CSL CI Crime conducted surveillance at a factory in Ankleshwar near Bharuch, during which we found a person named Praveen Mishra. His phone was examined. , and based on the information we received from him, we recovered." On his phone, we registered a case against Hai under section 123 of the IPC, IT Act and conspiracy offence. The main accused, an ISI handler from Pakistan, revealed his name as Sonal Garg. She revealed that she was working at IBM Chandigarh. The officer further said that many other people working for defense establishments in the country have been targeted by the ISI. Praveen Mishra worked with an organization in Hyderabad, which in turn worked with DRDO. Praveen Mishra shared some Vita related information. Apart from him, many other people working for defense establishments were also targeted. Praveen Mishra has been arrested. He shared information about drones manufactured by DRDO. The ISI handler attempted to install malware on the office server of Praveen Mishra on the eve.'' Further investigation is underway.
