New Delhi [India], A man was shot dead inside a shop in the Kalindi Kunj area of the national capital, and the accused has been arrested.
On Friday, based on information received at Kalindi Kunj police station, gunshots were heard at a shop in Jaitpur Extension, New Delhi.
Police reached the spot and came to know that the shop of Mirza Associates located at Umar Masjid Road, E-Block, Jaitpur Extension, Khadda Colony was closed and the local people were alleging that there was a firing incident inside the shop.
Local police opened the shutter of the shop and found a man, identified as 23-year-old Zaid, lying dead inside the shop. Prima facie it emerged that deceased Zaid was shot in the chest. Empty cartridges were also found at the spot.
After this the crime team was called and the incident site was inspected. Accordingly, a case was registered under FIR No. 244/2024 under Section 302 IPC and 25/27 Arms Act, and the matter is under investigation.
During investigation, it was found that the deceased Zaid was a property dealer associated with a shop named A-Z Properties, and he had some dealings with Mohammad Firoz, who was also a property dealer. It was further revealed that in the evening there was a heated argument between Firoz and deceased Zaid regarding some financial matters.
Later the accused Firoz was arrested.
