A 33-year-old man was murdered and his body buried under the 'hawan kund' of a temple in Sangrur, Punjab, Chandigarh. Police gave this information on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Sudeep Kumar who had gone missing on May 2.
He told that after the complaint of his family, the police started investigation.
Sudeep used to go to Shri Baglamukhi Temple located near Dohala Railway Barrier in Sangrur. He told that while interrogating the priests of the temple, the police recovered the body of Sudeep buried under the Havan Kund.
He said that two priests including Ashok Shastri have been arrested in the case. Further investigation is ongoing.
