Mumbai: A man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 5-year-old boy in Dharavi in central Mumbai, a police officer said on Friday.
Dharavi police station official said that there was a power failure in the area on May 4 and taking advantage of this, the 20-year-old accused called the boy to his house and sexually assaulted him.
"The boy informed his parents about the incident two days later, following which a case was registered under the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act. The man was arrested on Thursday evening," the officer said. "
