Palghar: A 21-year-old man was arrested on Monday for beating his girlfriend to death in Palghar, a police officer said.
Boisar police station official said the accused has been identified as Sumit Tandel, who was in a relationship with the victim for several years.
"Both lived in Murbe village and worked in the same factory. There was a fight between them, during which he hit her with a stone. He was caught by Satpati," the officer said.
