Kolkata, West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamat Banerjee on Tuesday held a road show in Bardhaman in support of Kirti Azad, the party's candidate for the Bardhaman-Durgapur seat.
The road show, which started from Benachiti and ended at Bhiringi and Durgapur in Bardhaman, had hundreds of people standing on both sides of the route with Banerjee stopping intermittently to interact with them.
Azad, who was part of the Indian cricket team that won the 1983 World Cup, was also seen waving to the crowd.
