PMC Assistant Health Officer Dr. Rajesh Dighe said that Zika virus is spread by the bite of infected Aedes aegypti mosquito, which also spreads diseases like dengue and chikungunya. PMC has taken precautionary measures including fumigation to prevent the spread of the virus.
