Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday visited actor Salma Khan's Bandra residence and assured her of security following the arrest of two people in connection with the shooting at her house.



Speaking to reporters, Shinde said that strict action would be taken against those involved in the firing.



Shinde also said that he has directed the Mumbai Police Commissioner to increase security for Khan and his family members.

Two men - Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) - who were on the run after the firing outside Khan's house on Sunday, were arrested from the temple complex in Gujarat's Kutch district late on Monday night.
