Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], Actor Kritika Kamra has a pivotal role in the new series 'Matka King', titled Vijay Varma.
On working with director Nagraj Manjule for the show, Kritika said, "I am incredibly excited to work with Nagraj Manjule, a filmmaker whose work I have deeply admired."
He said, "To be directed by a National Award-winning director like Nagaraj is an honor and a tremendous learning experience. 'Matka King' delivers a rich, layered story that is entertaining and historically significant. The world of Matka gambling is complex. And it's full of dangers, and my role compliments the larger story that it tells. After the positive response to my role in 'Bombay Meri Jaan', I am looking forward to playing another strong, impactful character in 'Matka King'. Although both worlds have similarities, my character and his arc are completely opposite to Bombay's, the only common thing is that they are both fierce characters."
