To prevent such accidents in future and prevent citizens from visiting unfamiliar and risky places, Ajit Pawar also directed all district collectors and district police chiefs in the state to take necessary measures, including putting up warning boards.

Assembly member Chetan Tupe had raised the issue of providing assistance to the families of the victims and implementing security measures at dangerous places.

In his reply, Pawar said the accident near Bushi Dam was unfortunate and funds would be made available through the District Planning Committee to implement measures to prevent such accidents.

With this fund, warning boards will be installed at potentially dangerous places, fences will be erected and nets will be installed for safety.

Pawar said information boards would be installed at places where there is tourist traffic and security measures would be implemented.
