The list includes names of five candidates for Bihar and two for Punjab.

In Bihar, Congress has fielded Madan Mohan Tiwari from West Champaran, Ajja Nishad from Muzaffarpur, Akash Prasad Singh from Maharajganj, Sunny Hazari from Samastipur (SC) and Manoj Kumar from Sasaram (SC).

Nishad, the sitting BJP MP from Muzaffarpur, left the party after not getting the ticket and joined the Congress, which fielded him from the same seat.

As part of the seat-sharing arrangement for the 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, Congress is contesting on nine seats, while RJD has been given 26 seats, similarly, the Left faction has been given five seats. These parties are components of the Indian faction.

Meanwhile, the party has also fielded Yamini Gomar from Hoshiarpur (SC) in Punjab and Amarji Kaur Sahoke from Faridkot (SC). The party is not in alliance with India Bloc partner Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab, while it has an electoral pact with the new party in Delhi for the Lok Sabha elections.
