Bhandara: Ruling party president JP Nadda on Friday said the 2024 Lok Sabha election is a fight between the BJ ideology led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party that wants to take the country forward as an agenda-less opposition.

He was addressing a public rally in Gondia for his party's Bhandara-Gondia and Gadchiroli-Chimur Lok Sabha candidates Sunil Mendhe and Ashok Nete respectively.

"PM Modi has changed the way politics is done in India. It was centered around caste, religion and region etc. but is now based on development. On the other hand, the PM works to root out corruption and opposition Indian factions. Wants to save the tainted,” he said.

He said, "People will have to choose between those who will root out corruption and those who support and promote it. The Lok Sabha elections are between the ideology of BJ led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will lead the country as an agenda-less opposition. Wants to take it forward.” He only knows how to abuse them,” Nadda asserted.

The Congress indulged in scams related to coal block allocation, helicopter purchase, telecom spectrum during its rule between 2004 to 2014, while its alliance partners like RJD, SP, Trinamool Congress, DMK also committed irregularities, Nadda alleged.

He said, "Half of the leaders of the India Bloc are in jail on corruption charges and the other half are on bail."

He said that Congress wants to conduct caste census to divide the society.

"BJP is not against caste census, but its focus is on empowering the poor, young farmers and women," he said.
