Jaipur: Light rain and thunderstorm were observed in parts of Rajasthan in the last 24 hours, the local meteorological center said on Saturday.

It was told that during this period the maximum rainfall was recorded at 21 mm in Chaksu, Jaipur and 4 mm in Dungargarh of Bikaner.

The weather is likely to remain mainly dry over most parts during the next 5-6 days, however, partly cloudy sky with isolated rain is likely over Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and adjoining areas during the next 48 hours. During this period, the maximum temperature is likely to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius from today.

Due to the partial influence of another weak Western Disturbance, strong surface winds with a speed of 25-30 km per hour are likely in parts of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions on April 29-30.
