Ajmer (Rajasthan): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday alleged that the Congress opposed the Ram temple consecration ceremony in Ayodhya because of its "anger" towards Lord Ram.

Addressing an election rally here, Modi said, “Opposing the visit to the consecration of Ram temple? is it fair? Not only this, if someone goes, he is expelled from the Congress Party for six years. Can this happen in this country? Can you imagine a country without Lord Ram?

Modi said, "There is so much anger for Lord Ram, I am not able to understand... Lord Ram has got a permanent residence. Ram Navami is coming and people are going to celebrate. Let's see how much you oppose it." do." The festival marking the birth of Lord Ram will fall on 17 April this year.Top Congress leaders had rejected the invitation for the ceremony to be held in Ayodhya on January 22, with the opposition party saying it was an RSS-BJP event and saffron organizations have made the Ram temple a political project.

Stepping up his attack on the Congress on the issue of corruption, Modi on Saturday said the opposition party is nervous because they have closed the shop of their loot and he was holding rallies not to win elections but to save the corrupt.

He called Congress a party of "dynasts and corrupt" which is devoid of principles and policies.

He said, "Wherever Congress is there, there can be no development. Congress never thought about the poor, the deprived and the youth."

Modi said, “These big names (Naamdar) of the country, big names of Congress and the royal family abuse this worker (Kamdar).Perhaps they consider it their right to abuse. This worker can digest every abuse.

"They are angry with Modi because today Modi is standing like a rock with the rural poor. These people considered looting the public money as their ancestral right. Modi has given a permanent cure to this disease of loot. Modi has brought down the shutter on them. Have given.“The shop was looted so they are in a panic.”

"The arrogant alliance of Congress is upset with Modi, hence it gets angry and abuses. But, Congress people should understand that the more mud you throw, the more the lotus (BJP's election symbol) will bloom."

Modi said that the Congress party is holding rallies not to win elections but to save the corrupt.

"Modi's fight against corruption will continue," he said, adding that his government's third term is not far and the government is going to take even bigger decisions against corruption in the first 100 days.He criticized the Congress manifesto, calling it a bundle of lies, every page of which reeked of "breaking India into pieces".

The Prime Minister alleged that Congress wants to impose the ideas of Muslim League on India. He alleged, "The Congress manifesto reflects the same thinking that was in the Muslim League at the time of independence."

"Whatever was left in this manifesto bearing the seal of Muslim League has been taken over by the leftists. Today Congress has neither principles nor policies left. It seems as if Congress has given everything on contract. And the entire party has been outsourced." He said.The Prime Minister said that the 2024 elections are an opportunity for the citizens to decide the future of the country for the next 100 years.

Modi said that there were coalition governments in the country for decades. He claimed, "The country's interest was lost due to the compulsions of the alliance and everyone's personal interests."

On the 10-year tenure of the BJP government at the Centre, he said, 'Whatever has been done is just a trailer. We have to take the country far ahead, that is why I say that your dream is Modi's resolve.

“We have to make India developed by 2047. We have to make India the third largest economic power in the world.We have to make India self-reliant in every way."

Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan will be held in two phases on 19 and 26 April. In the first phase, voting will be held on 12 seats Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur, Alwar Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa and Nagaur on April 19.

In the second phase, voting will be held on 13 seats Tonk, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota and Jhalawar on April 26.RT
