Srinagar: The property of a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist commander was attached in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. Police gave this information.

A police spokesperson said Abid Ramzan Shaikh alias Saifullah alias Khalid, resident of Chotipora, is a self-proclaimed terrorist commander.

He is involved in several terror cases in Shopian and neighboring districts. He is also involved in instigating youth to join terrorists, the spokesperson said.

Continuing their crackdown on the terror network, the police attached Sheikh's assets, including a piece of land and a house.

The spokesperson said this action had become inevitable in view of their continuous involvement in terrorism and ruining the careers of poor, innocent youth of the region.
