The road to Manimahesh Dal Lake was blocked due to landslide in Bharmour area of ​​Chamba district, Shimla on Thursday.

A 19-second video shot by a hiker of the landslide between Goinallah and Donnelly surfaced on social media.

Although the Manimahesh Yatra starts from 17th August and continues till 15th September, devotees and tourists undertake the yatra beyond these dates also.

The administration has asked people not to use this route and has put up information boards on this route.

The state emergency operations center said twelve roads - five in Shimla, four in Mandi and three in Kangra - were closed to vehicular traffic following rains last week.

Light rain continued throughout the state.

Kasauli received the highest rainfall with 38 mm rainfall, followed by Paonta Sahib 22 mm, Hanahan 13.2 mm, Dharamshala 9.6 mm, Olinda 8.4 mm, Sarahan 6 mm and Dalhousie 4 mm.
