The four-minute Punjabi track is composed and written by Shashwat Sachdev, with vocals by Sudhir Yaduvanshi, Sanj V. and Shashwat Sachdev.

The song celebrates Punjabi music with a touch of pop, with debutant Lakshya delivering a thunderous punch in an intense fight sequence.

It follows army commando Amrit (Lakshya), who races against time on a train to New Delhi for his true love Tulika (Tanya Maniktala). As the journey progresses, he faces unexpected challenges.

Sharing his thoughts on the song, producer Guneet Monga Kapoor said, “A film like 'Kill' needed a song with so much energy and emotion.'Kawa Kawa' is an adrenaline-pumping anthem, with a blend of traditional Punjabi beats. Both the film and the song show how far one can fight for one's love."

"I am really grateful to Shashwat, Sudheer and Sanj and the war mantra of our hero," the Oscar-winning filmmaker said.

Producer Karan Johar said, "'Kava Kava' is one of my favorite songs from the film.It's intense and gets you moving immediately. Shashwat, Sudhir and Sanj have brought the song to life with a blend of Punjabi and pop music." I can't wait for people to hear it and enjoy it."

The film also stars Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, Adrija Sinha and Akshay Vichare in lead roles.

Written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt and produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta and Achin Jain under the banner of Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, 'Kill' is scheduled to release on July 5.
