Zahoor was a resident of Karadapalli village under Tigiriya police station area of Cuttack district, while Gowda was reportedly from Ranazhali village in Purushottampur area of Ganjam district.
"Zahoor worked as a laboratory technician at NBTC Company in Kuwait. Our family is in deep shock after learning of Zahoor's death in a tragic fire accident from the embassy there on Thursday morning. He last visited home on the 4th. -Took a month's leave a few months ago and returned to Kuwait in May," said Zahoor's elder brother.
It is noteworthy that 45 Indians, including two people from Odisha, had died in the tragic incident on June 12.
