Lucknow, BSP supremo Mayawati on Thursday expressed grief over the death of Indians in a fire incident in Kuwait and asked the Center to provide all possible help to their families.

The former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh said, "The death of 41 Indians in the Kuwait fire is very sad. Deepest condolences to the families of those who died and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured. The central government should provide full assistance to their families. " said in a post on X.

Nearly 40 Indians were killed and more than 50 injured in a devastating fire that gutted a building housing around 195 migrant workers in southern Kuwait's Mangaf area on Wednesday.
