New Delhi, In his first election meeting for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections after returning from the UK following eye surgery, AAP MP Raghav Chadha on Tuesday said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will vote for Congress and Rahu Gandhi will vote for AAP. . Addressing an election rally in south Delhi in support of the party's Lok Sabha candidate Sahiram Pehalwan, Chadha said, "I have come here to support my brother, not only because he is a good person but also because This election is about saving the country and the Constitution." ,

At a time when the party was grappling with Kejriwal's arrest, amid questions over his prolonged absence, AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj had said Chadha was suffering from a serious eye disease that could lead to blindness.

Chadha was present at the party's protest near the BJP headquarters on Sunday.

"Since AAP came to power, people of Delhi have saved around Rs 18,000 per month on electricity, medicine, water, school fees and women have also saved on travel costs," he said.

The AAP leader said, they are only asking for votes in return.

"Press 'Broom' (AAP's election symbol) on 25th and support Kejriwal. When Rahul Gandhi goes to cast his vote on 25th May, he will vote for the AA candidate and press the broom symbol. Similarly, when CM Arvind Kejriwal votes Will cast his vote, he will vote for the Congress Party.”

Chadha had contested from the South Delhi constituency in 2019 and lost to BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri.

Expressing confidence of a strong victory for the Congress-AAP alliance, Chad said, "I am confident that this time we will win in South Delhi with the highest number of votes."

Voting will be held on all seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi on May 25.
