New Delhi [India], Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has hit out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying the Aam Aadmi Party national convenor has "ashamed" all the people of Delhi. The Defense Minister was holding a road show in Delhi's Buddha Vihar on Tuesday. Supporting BJP candidate Yogendra Chandolia from North-West Delhi constituency, speaking to ANI, Rajnath Singh said, "The strength of the Bharat alliance is getting weaker day by day. Delhi CM, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal is out of jail only till June 1. The kind of work he has done has put the people of Delhi to shame.He praised BJP leader Yogendra Chandolia and expressed confidence that he will win the seat with a huge margin. "Yogendra Chandolia is a popular person in his constituency. He has been working as a BJP worker for a long time. From the crowd you can see here, I am sure he will win by a huge margin." While speaking, the Defense Minister said, "India has given the message of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' to the world.I urge all of you to vote for Yogendra Chandolia in large numbers. This election is for the country. Chandolia will face Congress candidate Udit Raj from the North-West Delhi seat in the Lok Sabha elections. Voting will be held on all seven seats of Delhi in the Lok Sabha elections on May 25. Counting of votes will take place on June 4. BJP has been winning all the seven seats of Delhi.Delhi CM Kejriwal was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court till June 1 for the last two elections. This time, AAP and Congress are under a seat-sharing agreement in Delhi, with the former and the latter contesting from four and three seats respectively. Meanwhile, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal has accused party chief Arvin Kejriwal's former personal secretary Bibhav Kumar of assaulting her at the chief minister's residence. Kejriwal's former PA was arrested on Saturday in this case.
