SIT chief B.K. Singh, a senior IPS officer who also led the team that solved the sensational murder case of writer and activist Gauri Lankesh, is personally supervising the interrogation of Revanna.

The officers interrogated HD Revanna throughout the night and continued the interrogation on Sunday morning also. Sources said Revanna said he was not involved in any matter and that it was a conspiracy to destroy his family.Sources also said that HD Revanna was given pen and paper to write the reply but he refused and said he was not associated with the cases.
The officials have also questioned him about the whereabouts of his son Prajwa Revanna who is absconding. Sources said officials have taken HD Revanna's mobile phone and verified it to get clues about the activities of his son Prajwal Revanna.
Sources said Revanna was given a bed and kept in a room staffed by Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials on Saturday night. Similar facilities were provided to other arrested political stalwarts and senior officials.Revanna was calm during his stay in the CID building.
Revanna is accused of sexual harassment by a former maid. In another case, he is accused of kidnapping one of the victims of a sex scandal involving his son Prajwal Revanna. HD Revanna has been named as the first accused in both the cases.
The SIT is likely to get more information from the victim, who was rescued from the farmhouse of PA Rajagopal of HD Revanna.SIT has also arrested accused PA Rajagopal.
The authorities will have to produce HD Revanna before a magistrate by Sunday evening. Sources said that there is every possibility of him being sent to judicial custody. If the magistrate sends him to judicial custody, HD Revanna will be shifted to Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. However, the source said that the SIT has decided to take him into its custody if needed in the investigation.
