New Delhi, Juniper Green Energy on Tuesday said it has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with state-owned SJVN Ltd for supply of 320M renewable energy round the clock.

To accomplish this, the company will develop 1GW capacity in Gujarat and Rajasthan, a statement said.

The 25-year PPA, secured at a tariff of Rs 4.38 per unit, expands Juniper's operating and under construction capacity to 2.5 GW.

Through this project, the company is estimated to have an annual generation of 2,17 million units, which will offset approximately 20,41,811 tonnes of CO2 annually.

Furthermore, these initiatives are expected to significantly increase energy access to approximately 4.34 lakh households.
