Medininagar (Jharkhand): Thieves stole jewelery worth more than Rs 20 lakh and Rs 1 lakh in cash from the house of BJP Mahila Morcha state unit spokesperson Lovely Gupta in Jharkhand's Palamu district, police said on Tuesday.
He said the incident took place in Medininagar when Gupta and his family were in Ranchi on Sunday.
Medininagar SDPO Manibhushan Prasad said sniffer dogs were being used to help trace the miscreants.
He said no arrests have been made yet and further investigation is underway.
