CM Soren highlighted that the state is carrying out an awareness campaign in which people have been informed about narcotic addiction and sensitized about how it could potentially destroy the society, the youth and their future.

"We are carrying out an awareness campaign in which we try to communicate with each person. We try to make people aware of how narcotic consumption destroys society, youth and their future. There is a whole nexus at play that promotes addiction. to various things like jaggery, opium, ganja and many more," the CM said.

Urging people to take a resolution against narcotics abuse, the CM said, "There should be awareness about sale and consumption of narcotics in the state. We should take a resolution against this to stay away from narcotics and bring a happy and healthy life. "We have given information on how it can potentially affect the body. I request you to stay in touch with the administration so that they can report on these matters and make Jharkhand and the country free from such addictions."

Furthermore, he emphasized that the campaign started on June 19 will ensure strict action against peddlers to save the youth and Jharkhand free from the menace of drugs.
