The 42 -year -old shared this week on the closing episode of 'Your Mama's Kitchen: Conversation from the Heart of the Home' on the closing episode of this week, where he spoke about his family life.

Talking about brothers and sisters, hosts Mitchell Noris said: “Your father had a big personality. You and your brother -in -law found him at some point and came to know that you have many more brothers and sisters? ,

"Yes, many of us. Apparently, they had 27 children, ”Hudson shared.

One shocked Noris said, "These are a lot of children," before Hudson explained that he had never met all of them, "that was always told to us."

The EGOT winner said that when she came to know about her brothers and sisters at the age of 16, she wanted to get deep into her family.

"It was my dream that we all place a grand thank you or on the Christmas table, and we all sit and eat 16 together," he explained.

Hudson said that she eventually met six or seven of these brothers, besides she grew up with Jason and Julia.

“I met some of us. And I am the youngest of all of them, "he said.

To find out about him, Hudson said it was the side of his father's family who helped unite the brothers and sisters that he had ended the meeting.

He said, "When my grandmother passed her grandmother, my brother -in -law was such as a sister who really sings, you should meet her," she said.

"And finally we all came together."
