Una (Himachal Pradesh): Jan Shatabdi Express train running from Una in Himachal Pradesh to Delhi, which was suspended three days ago due to farmers' agitation in Punja and Haryana, resumed service on Tuesday. The officers provided this information.

Meanwhile, the Railway Board has canceled three passenger trains running from Una. In such a situation, the passengers got relief with the introduction of Jan Shatabdi Express.

A Railway spokesperson said the Railway Board has canceled passenger trains running on Una-Chandigarh-Ambala, Una-Saharanpur-Haridwar and Daulatpur Chowk-Amb-Andaura-Chandigarh-Ambala routes.

An official said that due to the farmers' agitation, these trains had to be suspended and all three trains will remain canceled till further orders.

Una railway station superintendent Rodash Singh said the Jan Shatabdi Express resumed service on Tuesday, but three passenger trains have been cancelled.

He said that due to the farmers' movement, some trains coming to Una have been late for the last few days. He told that Sabarmati Express also reached Una last night with a delay of three hours.

Jan Shatabdi Express left Una for Delhi at 4.55 am.
