The mortal remains of the martyred soldier were brought to Nagpur by a special plane from Udhampur. From where he was brought to Chhindwara in a special helicopter, where state Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid tribute to him, a large number of people had gathered to pay his respect to Pahade. Pahade's last rites were performed at Pataleshwar Moksha. Dham at 5:00 pm. The service personnel gave him a guard of honour. Chhindwara Superintendent of Police Manish Khatri and other administrative officials also paid tribute to him. Pahade leaves behind a five-year-old son, wife, mother and sisters. Paying tribute to Pahade, the CM said that a proposal is being sent to the Election Commission for approval to provide assistance amounting to Rs 1 crore to Pahade's family.
