Police said the property is a two-storey residential house measuring 1769.635 sq ft, worth Rs 2 lakh, belonging to notorious drug smuggler Mehjabeen Bano, resident of Stadium Colony Batapora Shopian, built on Shamilat Khand land of 6.5 marla.
"During the investigation/enquiry conducted by the Shopian Police, the property was identified as illegally acquired property," the police said.
Police claimed that the property was prima facie acquired by the drug smuggler from illegal trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances.
