Officials said security forces launched a search operation in villages near the International Border in Samba district after receiving information about suspicious activity in the Ben-Lalachak forward area.

During the operation, drones were also deployed for surveillance and house-to-house searches were conducted in the border area.

"A Black Panther Operations Command vehicle was also used during the search, with security personnel searching fields and forested areas," an official said.

He said that the identity documents of people living close to the border were also checked.

"Search operations are still going on in several villages near the international border," the officer said.
