The accident occurred on Saturday when a vehicle met with an accident at Khanpura in Phagsu area of ​​Thathri subdivision of Doda district, officials said.

An official said the vehicle was going from Thathri towards Khanpura when the driver lost control following which the vehicle fell into a ditch.

“Five people died in the accident. All four injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
