Police said the accused person was involved in conspiracy and murder along with other crimes including raising anti-national slogans, attempting to escape from jail, etc.
“Ali Mohd. Was. , 120, 225 RPCs of Police Station Rainawari surrendered before the concerned police station,” officials said.
“He has been arrested in the instant case on May 16, 2024. He was involved in the conspiracy and commission of crimes related to arson, rioting, attempt to jail break, raising anti-national slogans and stone pelting in Srinagar Centra Jail in 2019. It is pertinent to mention that Ali Mohammad Lone was the spokesperson of the banned organization Jamaat-e-Islami,” the police said.
