The ruling party chief said this during a public meeting at Narasapuram in West Godavari district.

"Think during whose tenure good things happened and under whose tenure it will continue. Everyone should think about it and then vote," Reddy said.

He appealed to those who did not vote for him in the last elections and requested them to go home and discuss with their family members.

Terming the upcoming elections as the battle of 'Kurukshetra', Reddy said it is not just to elect MLAs and MPs, but to decide the future of every household and the continuation of welfare schemes in the next five years.

Highlighting the initiatives taken on the education front, Reddy said education was progressing well with the introduction of CBSE curriculum and International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum for the first time in government schools.

The CM said that a vote for him would ensure continuity of all the schemes. But it will be stopped if they vote for TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu.

The YSRCP chief asked people if they could remember even one good thing that happened when Naidu's party was in power.

Further, he said that if the volunteers should return to people's homes to extend welfare schemes then YSRCP should be brought to power in the upcoming elections by winning all 17 assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats.
