Amaravati, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday paid tribute to his late father and former CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy on his 75th birth anniversary at Idupulupaya in Cuddapah district.
In a post on X, Reddy said, "Daddy, your 75th birthday is a festival for all of us... Taking your ambitions as our goal, we are working for the welfare of crores of families."
Across the state, several YSRCP leaders and workers paid tribute to the popular leader, who died in a helicopter crash on 2 September 2009.
Along with family members and party leaders, the opposition leader attended a prayer meeting at his father's grave.
Rajasekhara Reddy's daughter, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president YS Sharmila, also paid tribute to her father along with her party leaders.
