Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh), J Shyamala Rao on Sunday took charge as the new executive officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is the official custodian of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati.
"J Shyamala Rao took over as the new Executive Officer (EO) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams at the Tirumala temple from TTD EO (full additional control) AV Dharma Reddy on Sunday," TTD said in a press release.
Later Rao and his wife had darshan of the Lord in the sanctum sanctorum. The temple priests also blessed him.
He promised to execute all the tasks assigned to him to enhance the darshan, accommodation, transportation and other facilities.
Rao said that he will provide a memorable experience to every devotee.
