New Delhi [India], Ahead of India's first match of the T20 World Cup 2024, captain Rohit Sharma said that participating in an ICC tournament is always exciting for him as it brings new challenges.

In a recent video shared on ICC's official social media handle, Rohit said that he has played all the T20 World Cups and enjoyed every bit of it.

“When you come to an ICC tournament, it is always exciting and brings a lot of new challenges. For me, nothing changes from all the World Cups I have played.I always wanted to win. Having played all the T20 World Cups, I have enjoyed every moment of it,” Rohit said.

The Indian captain also recalled the time when he was bowled out against Pakistan in the 2007 T20 World Cup. He said that the ball-out brought a lot of excitement as it was happening for the first time.

“I think the first thing that comes to my mind is our bowlout against Pakistan.I think that was the first ballout ever. I still remember we used to train for the ballout, which was quite exciting. Everyone participated in it I never thought it would reach this level because when it started it was obviously a very unknown factor to the world but I can sit here now and say for sure That it has brought a lot of excitement."
