Hamirpur/Shimla, June 11 ( ) Former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on Tuesday said that it is the prerogative of the Prime Minister to decide who should be included or excluded from the cabinet.
Dhumal congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ministers included in the Council of Ministers.
He said, "It is the prerogative of the Prime Minister to decide who should be included or excluded from the Cabinet. It depends on the wishes of the Prime Minister and the organization as to who should be included or excluded from the Ministry."
This reaction was in response to the exclusion of the five-time MP and his son Anurag Thakur from the Modi cabinet.
"It is a matter of great pleasure that after the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Narendra Modi is the only non-Congress leader to become PM for the third consecutive time and it is a huge honor for the organization and the country." ," He said.
When asked whether Anurag would be given any responsibility in the organization, Dhumal said that it also depends on the wishes of the Prime Minister and the organization.
He said, Anurag is an MP and will continue to work for the party.
Meanwhile, state Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr (Colonel) Dhani Ram Shandil congratulated BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda on his induction as the Union Health Minister.
He expressed confidence that Nadda will safeguard the interests of Himachal Pradesh at the national level and his tenure will especially strengthen the health care infrastructure of the state.
