Both the batsmen completed their 100-run partnership in 15.5 overs when Rahul hit a four off Romario Sheppard. The duo put on a 109-run partnership before Pooran departed after scoring an amazing 75 off just 29 balls, which included eight sixes and five fours in the innings. He scored runs at an excellent strike rate of 258.62. Rahul was out after playing a brilliant inning of 55 runs in 41 balls, which included three fours and sixes in his innings.In the end, Krunal Pandya and Ayush Badoni played valuable unbeaten innings, taking the team to 214/6 at the end of the first innings.
