On the occasion of International Yoga Day, several actors took to their respective accounts to express their love for yoga.

Actress Kiara Advani shared a photo of herself performing yoga on her Instagram stories. She wrote in the caption: "Happy yoga day."

Urmila Matondkar also posted a picture of herself practicing yoga and wrote a caption emphasizing the importance of yoga.

She wrote in the caption: "Yoga needs to be a lifestyle... much more than just a post or celebrating it on a certain day. It is much more than something physical. Earlier, on the 10th International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to those popularizing yoga and expressed hope that yoga will continue to unite the world in the future.

"The 10th International Yoga Day has been celebrated on a grand scale across the world thanks to the collective efforts of individuals, communities and organizations who came together and practiced Yoga. It is clear that Yoga has become a unifying force that unites people of all cultures and backgrounds. It is a pleasure to see young people participating in yoga sessions with such enthusiasm and dedication," said Prime Minister Modi in a post on X.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday led the celebrations of the 10th International Yoga Day at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center (SKICC) in Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar.

This year's event highlights the profound impact of yoga on young minds and bodies. The celebration aims to unite thousands in the practice of Yoga, promoting health and well-being on a global scale.

This year's theme, "Yoga for Self and Society," emphasizes the vital role of yoga in promoting both individual well-being and social harmony.

Several Union ministers and other leaders performed yoga in different parts of the country.

Since 2015, the Prime Minister has led the International Day of Yoga (IDY) celebrations at several iconic locations, including Kartavya Path in Delhi to Chandigarh, Dehradun, Ranchi, Lucknow, Mysuru and even the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
