The deadlock was finally broken in the 48th minute by Pyari Xaxa, who scored his second goal in as many games. However, Myanmar's all-time leading scorer Win Theingi Tun scored the equalizer just two minutes later. Although both teams created several opportunities to win the match, neither could find another goal and settled for a draw.

India head coach Langam Chaoba Devi made only one change to the lineup from three days ago, replacing Sandhiya Ranganathan with Karishma Shirvoikar. Mousumi Murmu, 19, came on in the second half to make his senior debut for India.

India appeared to be more attack-minded than in the first match and most of the first 45 minutes were played in the Myanmar half. The local goalkeeper was also quite busy. As the rain gradually eased, the football flowed more freely.

India wasted two decent chances on the half-hour mark, with Karishma Shirvoikar shooting wide from outside the box after Pyari had put the ball to her. Soumya then delivered a good cross from the right, but Pyari headed wide.

In the 34th minute, Indian goalkeeper Elangbam Panthoi Chanu was tested for the first time when she saved a long-range shot by Khin Mar Lar Tun from 30 metres. Pyari made up for his mistake in the first half and finally gave India the lead in the 48th minute. The Odisha FC forward took advantage of a long clearance from Panthoi before beating Lin Lae Oo and firing a shot past Myo Mya Mya Nyein.

However, the joy in the Indian camp was short-lived as Myanmar equalized less than two minutes later thanks to their skilful striker Win Theingi Tun, who scored from the far post with a first-time shot after an inviting cross from the right by Yoon Wady. Hlaing.

The final 10 minutes were frenetic action from start to finish, with both goalkeepers making crucial saves. In the 82nd minute, Soumya hit the wall with another free kick before Ashalata's rebound attempt landed straight into the gloves of Myo Mya Mya Nyein. Five minutes later, Anju delivered a glorious ball for Soumya to chase inside the box but he failed to control it.

Panthoi had his busiest moments of the entire match in stoppage time, when he first denied Win Theingi Tun's high shot with a strong palm and then curled a free kick wide of Myat Noe Khin.

The last chance to win the match fell to India, but Sangita could only miss his shot in the 94th minute when a loose ball fell into his path after Myanmar cleared an Ashalata free kick.
