Hyderabad, Telangana government is planning to set up 'Integrated Residential Complexes' comprising SC, ST, BC and minority residential schools in all assembly constituencies.

An official release late on Sunday night said the government has decided to set up integrated campuses instead of keeping SC, ST, BC and minority residential schools at separate locations.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who held a meeting with his deputy Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and officials, saw models prepared by architects for building integrated complexes.

The integrated campuses will be set up as a pilot project in Kodangal (CM's assembly constituency) and Madhira (represented by the Deputy CM). These will be constructed in all the assembly constituencies in a phased manner.

It said the proposed integrated campuses will have modern facilities for students compared to existing private international schools. These complexes will be built in an area of 20-25 acres.

The government believes that, apart from promoting competitiveness among students, integrated campuses will help eliminate caste and communal differences.

The government hopes the complexes will also make supervision and management easier, the release said.
