Dalian (China), Indian men's and women's teams started their campaign at the Asian Team Squash Championship 2024 with comprehensive wins in Dalian, China.

The men's team, which was without injured Abhay Singh, led Kuwait 2-1 thanks to good leadership from experienced Velavan Senthilkumar.

The women, led by Rathika Suthanthira Seelan, defeated Macau (2-1) and Mongolia (3-0).

Later, the Indian men lost to Japan in their second group match, the full result of which is awaited.
