Priyanshu added the third silver medal to the team by finishing second in the men's 1500 meters race with a timing of 3:50.85. Earlier, in the morning session, Reeti won a silver medal in men's discus throw. Prachi Ankush Deokar missed out on a bronze medal in the women's 3,000 metres, finishing fourth. Indian middle distance runners were also successful in the heats on the opening day.
Lakshita Vinod Sandalia and Tanvi Malik advanced to the medal round of the women's 800m, keeping them in contention for a medal in the two-lap event. Laxita finished second in the 800m heat on Wednesday with a timing of 2:09.39, while Tanv Malik crossed the finish line in fourth place in her heat with a timing of 2:12.82.

He did not get any points in his second attempt, but in his third attempt of 52.23 metres, he consolidated his position among the medal winners. His fourth attempt yielded no points, while his fifth attempt was 50.35 m and his final and sixth attempt was 53.01 m.
The gold went to Jibrin Adoum Ahmat of Qatar, whose best throw of the day was 54.80 meters. Saudi Arabia's Hassan Mubarak Alhassai won the bronze medal with 50.41 metres.
