According to tech education company Scaler, the increase in average salary growth reflects the continued demand for skilled professionals in the ever-evolving technology landscape.

According to data evaluated by B2K Analytics, the agency that audits the placement report of IIM-Ahmedabad, revealed that the top 25 per cent who learned the software development program secured an average package of Rs 48 lakh per annum (LPA), while the middle 80 percent achieved. Average package of 25 LPA.

“The findings of this placement report underline the tangible benefits of upskilling in enhancing career prospects and meeting industry demands,” said Anshuman Singh, Scaler and co-founder of InterviewBit.

The report is based on learners whose placements took place between 2022 and 2024 and who have completed their mandatory modules by 1 January 2024 and a period of 6 months thereafter.

Additionally, the report highlights a significant jump in the average salary of learners.

In pre-upskilling, the average CTC of learners was 17.77 LPA, which has now increased to 33.73 LPA after upskilling.

At the same time, before upskilling, the average salary of learners of Data Science group was 15.47 LPA. After upskilling, the average CTC received by them increased to 30.68 LPA.
