The 19-year-old was part of the team that won the gold medal at the Women's Junior Asia Cup 2023 and also traveled with the team to Dusseldorf, Germany for the 2023 Junior Women's Invitation Tournament.
Ropani was also a key player for the team at the 2023 FIH Junior World Cup in Santiago, Chile and played in all six games.
“It was a good year for me because I was able to earn consistent opportunities with the team and improve as a player. I thank the support staff and coaches for supporting me and my teammates for allowing me to Express yourself.Winning the gold medal at the Women's Junior Asia Cup is one of my favorite memories."
Ropani was recently named in the 33-member national women's team core group, which is training at the SAI center in Bengaluru, till May 16. Sri was among the players who were selected from the 60-member assessment team that reported to the camp. 1 April followed by selection trials held on 6 and 7 April.
Speaking on her experiences of training with the senior team, Ropani said, “It has been a great experience for me as I have been able to rub shoulders with the best players.They are constantly giving us proper guidance and making sure that we feel comfortable at all times.”
Asked what advice he has received from senior players, Ropan elaborated, "They are constantly giving us advice on how to deal with pressure and how to stay calm during tough games. That has been one of the key aspects It's been a great learning experience for me where I think I can improve and I think it will help me increase my growth rate.
Ropani is now looking to work even harder to make her senior T debut and is hoping that she will get the chance to showcase her talent against her competitors.“It is everyone's dream to represent the country, and as a team, we are very focused on our development this year. I am looking forward to working harder than ever so that whenever my name is part of the competition If called upon to become one, I will be ready." Senior team team.
