Antalya (Turkey), The Indian recurve mixed team of Dheeraj Bommadevara and Bhajan Kaur produced a stellar performance to win the bronze medal by defeating Mexico in the Archery World Cup Stage 3 here on Sunday.

Trailing 0-2 after losing the opening set, the Indian team played a brilliant round to level the score and win 5-3 (35-38, 40-39, 38-37, 38-38) over their Mexican opponents. Registered a spectacular victory. Alejandra Valencia and Matias Grande.

It was India's third medal of the competition and the archers will be looking for two more medals when Dheeraj and Ankita Bhakta compete in their individual semi-finals later in the day.

The Indian women's compound team of Jyoti Surekha Vennam, Aditi Swamy and Preneet Kaur won the gold medal on Saturday, while Priyansh won the silver medal.
