India has received a total quota of 1,75,025 pilgrims for Haj 2024, with 1,40,020 seats reserved for pilgrims to proceed through the Haj Committee of India, and 35,005 pilgrims to proceed through Haj group operators. is allowed.

Last month, in a historic first, Indian Haj pilgrims arriving at Jeddah airport traveled to Mecca by high-speed Haramain train instead of buses.

This arrangement, which will make the journey of pilgrims more comfortable, has been facilitated by the Consulate General of India in Jeddah in coordination with the concerned Saudi authorities.
