He attributed the achievements to the efforts of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) scientists and said they "underline India's technical prowess and determination to explore the uncharted territories of space."

"It is only thanks to ISRO that Bharat can proudly boast of being the first country in the world to successfully land Chandrayaan 3 on the south pole of the Moon," he said.

"ISRO has recorded the Shiv Shakti point (the landing site of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon) and Tricolor (the lunar surface where Chandrayaan-2 left its footprints) on the Moon.
