Dubai, The International Cricket Council on Friday announced that India will face Bangladesh in their T20 World Cup warm-up match in the United States on June 1.

The venue and time of India's event have not been announced yet.

The ICC said seventeen of the 20 teams will play practice matches in the United States and Trinidad and Tobago from May 27 to June 27.

South Africa will play an intra-squad match in Florida on 29 May.

Defending champions England and last edition's runners-up Pakistan and semi-finalists New Zealand are not playing any practice matches.England are hosting Pakistan in a four-match bilateral series starting on May 22. After touring Pakistan for a five-match T20 series, New Zealand will directly begin their campaign against Afghanistan on June 8.

The venues hosting the 16 practice matches include Grand Prairie Creek Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queens Park Oval and Bria Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

The practice fixtures will not have T20I status, allowing teams to field other members of their 15-player squads.

In a departure from the previous cycle, teams can now choose to play a maximum of two practice matches depending on their arrival for the event.The match between West Indies and Australia on May 30 at Queen's Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago will be open to fans.

The ICC said tickets can be purchased at Tickets.t20worldcup.com or at the box office at the National Cricket Center and Queens Park Oval.
