Jaipur: According to the Election Commission, BJP is leading on 14 Lok Sabha seats and Congress on eight seats in Rajasthan.

Apart from the Congress, other Indian block parties CPI(M) and RLP and BAP are leading on one seat each in the state, which sends 25 members to the lower house of Parliament, according to data from the poll panel's website.

According to the data released at 10:10 am, BJP candidate Mahima Kumari Mewar is leading from Rajsamand by 66,544 votes, while Congress candidate Murari Meena is in second place in Dausa (by a margin of 45,402 votes).

Lok Sabha Speaker and BJP candidate Om Birla, Union ministers Arjun Meghwal (Bikaner), Gajendra Singh Shekhawat (Jodhpur) and Bhupendra Yadav (Alwar) are leading, while Union minister Kailash Chaudhary (Barmer) is trailing.

While Yadav is leading by a margin of 30,639 votes, Meghwal and Singh are leading by a margin of 5,920 and 6,908 votes respectively.

Kailash Choudhary is trailing by 56897 votes in Barmer. He is in third place.

Bharat Adivasi Party candidate Rajkumar Roat is leading in the Banswara seat by 44,817 votes, while RLP candidate Hanuman Beniwal is leading in the Nagaur seat by 4,644 votes.

CPI (M) candidate Amra Ram is leading by 18,499 votes in Sikar seat.
